Took my 12 year old dog there for the first time and had such a great experience! The tech and doctor were both incredibly nice. The office was efficient. They took great care of Bella! So glad I found them.

I had brought my cat here consistently for regular annual visits, including 2 dentals($$$$)since I adopted her many years ago. We had received great care here over the years by Dr. Meister and several other vets who came and went. My cat suddenly stopped eating and drinking so I called them. I asked if I should bring her to VSEC urgent care(my first thought), they said No, that’s expensive just to get her in and Dr.Cohen should see her first). I was able to get an “emergency” appointment with Dr. Cohen (that’s an extra charge right there$$$) This was during Covid, so I wasn’t allowed in the office(I waited in the car and communication wasn’t great). although some of his “favorite” patients were allowed in. He did bloodwork, then prescribed two meds and recommended an ultrasound (which they don’t do, but VSEC does!). The meds didn’t help and She wasn’t improving so I took her to VSEC for the ultrasound and to be seen. I called while at VSEC, I called both Dr. Cohen and the center City vet office for advice, but nobody answered. In the end, she was put to sleep. This vet is ok for routine care, but for any emergency. I’d bypass them and go to VSEC(or any urgent vet care) despite what this place says . Dr. Cohen and staff still never did call to follow up UPDATE: upon seeing this review, Dr. Cohen called me to YELL at me almost THREE months after I put my cat to sleep because of a poor(but honest) review! I have receipts/emails/witnesses to support my claims. He told me he would’ve put her on steroids if he had known!? I Called his cell and the office during working hours while at VSEC and no one answered. How could a vet call a patient because they didn’t like a poor review and YELL at them, making them feel as if they did the wrong thing by ending their pets suffering?! I had finally stopped crying daily over losing my cat and now I’m grieving all over again thanks to Dr. Cohen’s ego. Dr. cohen yelled at me over the phone as I was literally sobbing. The last thing I said to him as I was crying was”Why are you doing this to me?!” Unprofessional egomaniac Never again will I go here. 😿😭

I love how welcoming the team is. From the very first visit, I felt at home—especially when they put my kitten’s name on the welcome board the day of her first appointment. The team was there for me during an incredibly difficult time, remaining open, compassionate, and available while my cat was ill and even after her passing. Their support meant so much to me. I continue to bring my pets here because of the genuine care they show.

first time here and there was an insanely noticeable difference from the experiences I've had at other city vets. fast service, quality care, and its extremely affordable compared to other spots. the vet was so kind and eased all my anxiety for my cat. they definitely know their stuff!! recommended to me by a friend and let me be the friend to recommend them to you. I will be switching here for good 😸
