I brought my 9-year-old small dog to the clinic for tooth extraction. Every single staff member was incredibly friendly and informative. Wait time was exceptional. I was updated in a timely manner about my dog's medical needs, both at the clinic and by phone, and was scheduled fairly quickly for her procedure following bloodwork (no later than a week). The staff were communicative the day of surgery. I got a phone call after the procedure was finished and was given very helpful instructions on helping my dog recover. I also very much appreciated the price transparency. There were no surprises with what I'd walk out paying. It was the best outcome I could hope for!

After visits with other clinics, we were under the impression care for our 11 year old corgi, our son and light of our life, was beyond reach and financially unattainable. We were preparing to do our best to keep him comfortable in his final days and our hearts were breaking with the prospect of having to say goodbye so much sooner than we were prepared for. Dr. Wilkerson and the staff at Girard Clinic changed all that. They worked with us to find ways to care for our dog and provide treatment so he could be happy and healthy again, truly giving us the most incredible gifts anyone could, life and time. We are beyond grateful for their dedication and care. Every person in that office is there because they love animals. I have never been in a veterinary office where that was so incredibly apparent.

Great vet! 10/10!! And I’m someone who is hard to please. I honestly would not take my cat anywhere else in Philly. The care here is phenomenal and the staff are all amazing. If you are calling, I would call early in the morning because the phones get busy. Once you are there, it’s smooth sailing and they really cater to your pet’s needs as well as yours. The vet tech, Latoya, is amazing and made the entire experience comfortable. The doctor, Johnathon, was great as well. My cat was relaxed and well cared for. The staff at the desk are also personable and really care about animals. Also, they don’t try to scam you or up-charge. The prices are fair and reasonable. They discuss the costs upfront instead of just proceeding with procedures and surprising you upon departure.

I am beyond grateful for this vet clinic and their amazing staff. When I brought my cat in, she had come home after two weeks severely malnourished and pregnant, and she was in very bad shape. I was very terrified of her passing and I didn’t have enough money to cover the full cost of surgery, but instead of turning me away, they showed so much compassion and worked with me. They willingly did the surgery for a much lower price just so they could save her life. Because of them, my cat is still here today and already doing better just three days later. They truly care about animals and the people who love them. I will never forget the kindness they showed us. Thank you guys so much for saving my baby❤️!!!!
